TDG Communications Wins Three ADDY Awards PDF print email

DEADWOOD, S.D. (2/26/10) – TDG Communications, the full-service advertising, marketing and public relations firm based in Deadwood, won three ADDY awards during the recent American Advertising Federation of the Black Hills awards banquet in Rapid City.

TDG received a Gold ADDY award for creating a mixed media campaign on behalf of the South Dakota Housing Development Authority. The campaign, which focused on the South Dakota First-Time Homebuyers Program, will move on to compete in the American Advertising Federation’s regional competition in Minneapolis.

Silver ADDY awards went to TDG Communications in two other categories at the banquet. The agency’s sustainability report created for Wharf Resources was recognized in the print materials competition.

TDG’s work on behalf of the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce and the Deadwood 20th Anniversary Committee won a Silver ADDY in the special events campaign division. The campaign involved creative design and a focused public relations plan during Deadwood’s 20th anniversary of gaming celebration in November.

The ADDY Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the field of advertising.
