DEADWOOD, S.D. (7/12/10) – Jim Griffith has joined TDG Communications, the Deadwood-based advertising and public relations firm, as Publishing Manager. He handles sales and content for TDG’s visitor gu ides, chamber directories and other specialty publications in South Dakota, Wyoming, Illinois and Maine.
Griffith recently moved to the Black Hills from Las Vegas, where he worked 24 years in various sales positions. He worked as territory sales manager for Philip Morris USA, handling consumer product marketing and distribution. For Wynn Resorts, he dealt in group sales and specialty markets for Wynn’s entertainment events. He also sold industrial products, primarily to hotels and other Las Vegas properties, for Source 4 Industries.

TDG Communications, the full-service advertising and public relations firm in Deadwood, announced that Agency Director Dustin Floyd has been named corporate president. Creative Director Monte Amende was named corporate vice-president.
Floyd and Amende became TDG partners in 2008. They are stepping into corporate positions that had been held by company founders Tom and Nyla Griffith, who remain as partners and staff members at TDG.
“Nyla and I are excited to have Dustin and Monte moving into these new leadership roles. Their successes over the years at TDG have shown that they will continue to provide our clients with the best services in the region,” said Tom Griffith.
Floyd, the newly appointed company president, has been with TDG Communications since 2003 and has directed the agency’s media relations coordination and overall agency management. Amende joined TDG in 2002 and has been responsible for much of the agency’s success in the digital arena. He oversees the company’s growing team of web and creative designers.

TDG Communications, the Deadwood-based full-service advertising and public relations firm, announced that Joe Rainboth of Spearfish has joined the staff as public relations specialist.
Rainboth has more than five years of experience in marketing and higher education. Since 2006, he served as an admissions counselor for the University of South Dakota. He began his new responsibilities with TDG on Sept. 10.
